“The main idea for the spice packaging was to make a simple in use and rememberable image. It uses handwritten type to create home atmosphere. The more attention is pade to the number of the spice and it’s colour to make it easy rememberable even for men and children. The packaging itself is eco-friendly and made of paper. “

First trailer for Arrested Development - Season 4!

Oh my god.

OMGOMGOMG

I apologize in advance for this post if you are a fan of typograpy and lack free time…
Letter Cult have posted their Custom Letters, Best of 2012. Which is over 60 pages of amazing type and lettering. A real feast for the eyes, but it will take a while to get through. It’s split into 3 parts;
Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.
The pictures above are some of my favorites from their selections, and are by; Mary Kate McDevitt, Jessica Hische, Darren Booth, Mary Kate McDevitt (could have posted way more of her work), Dan Cassaro and Craig Ward.

Out of context, they’re kind of mysterious and moving, right?

Lettering vs. Calligraphy
Today is the last day of this letter exhibition at Mota Italic, featuring the work of letterer, Martina Flor and calligrapher, Giuseppe Salerno.
Each Berlin based designer draws/writes a letter chosen each day. They explore the different possibilities of each glyph in a similar way to ‘letter battles’ such as Type Fight, Alphabout, AlphaBattle and the fun LetterPlayground.
The two technical approaches have produced some lovely work. It’s a shame I’ve missed the show, however you can see more of the work online.

“This redesign / rebranding is based on the target group’s lack of overview of Union Squares opportunities, offers and businesses. Solved with an optimization of their information dissemination, through a new infographic visual identity.”
Thorbjørn Gudnason, born in 1990. Currently studying Graphic Communication (BA) at School of Visual Communication, in Denmark. I like to translate values into strong visual concepts that communicate and support the clients strategic goals. In my belief successful design consist of an interesting idea which is visually exciting and well executed.
